  • Gregory Dubois-Felsmann making progress on carrying out the test; hope to finish by end of this week.

  • Margaret Gelman focusing on producing test specs.
    
  • Dates may be shifted due to changes to spectrograph date (moved back to April)
  • Margaret Gelman figuring out the appropriate schedule impact on the milestone.

• Bill Gropp, new NCSA director, building relationship with LSST leadership.
• Donald Petravick has been building up the strength of the team within NCSA to enable others to move into leadership positions.
• Unknown User (mbutler) and Margaret Gelman will now be primary interfaces to the LSST project from NCSA.
• Unknown User (mbutler) will be Product Owner of the LDF, Margaret Gelman as T/CAM.
• NCSA is still working out how to cover all the roles that Donald Petravick has been filling; expect more news on that soon.

• Change requests of interest to DM
• L1/2/3 → prompt, data release, user generated change has been approved; see LPM-231.
• Upcoming LCR on base data center requirements (LSE-239); will be of particular interest to Unknown User (mbutler).
• Searchable interactive nightly reports is up for investigation by the subsystem; likely needs a WG or similar.

• Gregory Dubois-Felsmann: Provide input on the DPDD PR re. usage of L3 vs. Science Platform 05 Feb 2018 
• Tim Jenness: Discuss nightly reports with Wil O'Mullane 05 Feb 2018 
  

• Robert G. reports they're still aiming for early February.
• Image level and compression algorithm benchmarks should be done this week.

• Simon Krughoff: We need to talk to Patrick Ingraham about commissioning the CBP (but we already are).
  • Need to ensure that Margaret Gelman is kept in the loop re any special requirements for CBP data handling.
