  • - Boulder, Co. NSF - Major and Mid-scale Research Infrastructure Workshop - registration open, NSF Astronomy Division is working to plan a special (1/2 day or maybe full) workshop on Friday, September 16 (details are evolving). The workshop will focus on science communication with a focus on astronomy.  More details to come soon.
  •   -  JSR Confluence page: JSR2022 is set up. Actions from 2021 Review to be dealt with
    • JSR agenda will have fewer breakouts and will be  with remote participation (Hybrid in at least one room - request of Ed and Helmut since some of the comittee will go remote) 
    • Meeting in Tucson
    • Draft charge on the drive, draft agenda this week
  •   - - NSF visit to Chile
  • Discussion of leaks on summit and burst pipes 50-80m^3 mostly collected under pflow some in server ante chamber
    • water pumped out - actuators etc seem good but some corrosion on mechanical parts
  • ComCam leak - still being assesed.

2023 DM SIT-COM Joint Subsystem meeting (JTM)

  • Looking at mid-March now because hotels are 3x as expensive in La Serena in Feb and fewer staff will be available. 
  • March 13 was the favorite week (but Victor wants to go can't make it that week. Going to look into March 20 or March 27)
  • Expect a poll on whether you plan to attend in person/virtually, are bringing +Ns, want to go up to the summit during the day or overnight, etc...
