NON-DMLT Meeting -2021-07-26

• Safety report on car accident (mentioned last week) drafted - left late, tired, lost concentration  went too fast. This was driver error. It is easy for this to happen - all need to be vigalent.
  
  • DOE permanently revoked driving privileges for the employee
  • AURA rules are different but it is a DOE call - even the AURA rules are not that clear especially for expats.
  • Lack of radio coverage in the spot has come up again ..
• Rebaseline and BOE is supposed to be done by end of month .
  • Kevin and Victor will meet this morning to see where we are
  • Dome on critical path - tied to M2 glass on cell.
  • Worried about all our DM reqs for FY22 - UW and SLAC may have extra step,  CSA approved amounts.
    • UW Req for FY21 finally accepted !
    • Baseline change is needed to get full FY22 ..
• CUI Security mentioned - doc in preparation.
• EPO 
  • hiring to replace Gomez
  • Contracts not doing as much as they used to do .
    • there is no document for the RFP (Request for proposal) process. 
• Chile COVID numbers looking good but no change in border restrictions yet.
  • Embassy requested no  more OI visa requests from AURA  for now.
• Rules in Tucson unclear (some people were in a meeting room at NOIRLab all hands)
  • CEPP v5 should guide this ..
  • No limit now to attending the office - need to fill health check form
  • It is evolving quickly ..
