Kevin Long will tell us whats needed for "replan" activities :  "Convert all planning package activities forecasted to start within three months of the schedule status date (minimum, six months preferred) to the work package level of detail, in accordance with the EVMS System Description.* (Guideline 10)"

Would it be possible to do a big replan for the next year to give us a cushion for whenever this next surveillance is going to be?

Discussion:

  • planning package details needed 3 months out ..
  • not well enforced in DM but last survelance more planning was looked for.
  • Kevin sees a framework which is common
    • can we plan out to end of project?
    • do not need every detail
    • do 3 month epics - does not need to be all the budget.
    • can do bigger packages and LCR changes closer to the - tie to Jira epics
    • What about planning packages on books ?
      • detail what you have and Kevin will put the planning packages at the end..
      • so some epics .. to the end ..  keep the rest int the planning package at then end
    • How much should we do ?
      • e..g Frossie always has similar epics (Kevin could probably do 50%)
      • and we still provide updates each 3 months.
    • Kevin explains the EPICs provided each 3 months reduce the planning packages.
    • When ?
      • Survelence will be in August .. we did DM plan to June  so first week of June .
      • Usual cycle plan format .. even as 3 worksheets ..
  • Frossie Economou  provide epics for 50-60% of team effort out to May 2022 to K. Long
  • Yusra AlSayyad provide epics for 50-60% of team effort out to May 2022 to K. Long
  • Unknown User (mbutler)  provide epics for 50-60% of team effort out to May 2022 to K. Long
  • Fritz Mueller provide epics for 50-60% of team effort out to May 2022 to K. Long
  • Ian Sullivan provide epics for 50-60% of team effort out to May 2022 to K. Long
