  • Quarterly meeting slides conversation. 

  • AURA closure to May 15 .  It will be phased in any case. Could work on getting phased earlier for some Rubin activities.

    • What about people who do not wish to return?  Managers can accommodate people who can work remote. Some people will need to be on site.(Jeff adds the machinists are eager to get back in the shop).  Officially HR could be involved if there are mitigating circumstances which should not be public. 

  • From OPS DOE Financial Opportunity Announcement (FOA)

    • FOA process would:

      • Define a scope of activity to be responded to in exchange for funding of that activity by DOE,
      • Be open to all institutions: academic, government labs, universities, commercial interests,
      • Lead to an agreement (contract or cooperative agreement) between the winner and DOE, and
      • Require the winner to be functionally directed by Rubin Observatory management even though the winner would be accountable directly to DOE.

      The FOA release date is not yet set.

  • LDM-503-06 wording mentions the summit.
    • However, we can run the test at the base, and claim it is a minor deviation.
    • Should make sure the report describes carefully exactly what is not tested due to the alternative execution site.
  • LDM-503-10b blocked on the Camera.
    • Depends on restart schedule at SLAC.
    • We note that the execution procedure for this test is not close to acquiring data from the mountain; we can use rsync.
  • Wil O'Mullane — find a blocking milestone or date for LDM-503-10b.   Already linked to Camera Level 2 Milestones CAMM8080 COMP: Final Camera Verification Testing Starting at SLAC - this is late but has not been moved.
