The LSST Project and DMS requirements and design documents are controlled, and are accessible through a special repository (which requires an account). These documents describe the DMS system as it is intended to exist by the end of the LSST construction phase.

The LSST Software User Guide describes how to download, build, and install the LSST Software Stack, how to run the command-line tasks, and how to configure the pipelines to develop your own data reduction pipelines. It also describes the supporting packages and their use. This document is geared towards end-users (e.g., Level 3, Science Collaborations) and Production operators who primarily need to run the code over large sets of data. Developers and advanced users who need to know both how to run the LSST Software and how to build on top of it should also read the LSST DM Developer Guide. |

Teams & Working Groups
The following teams within DM have substantial presences on Confluence:
