GOAL: a community-facing document that explains LSST photometric calibrations

MOTIVATION:

    • for users to understand the DPDD-defined data products they will interact with
    • to enable science which relies on precision photometry
    • to empower users to "undo" and "redo" any aspect of the photometric calibration
    • translate Lupton's "Easy" and "Hard" photometric calibrations docs for a general audience

STATUS: low-priority: seems best to wait until the code exists, then document it
