Update on CONUS Networks

CONUS Networks, including ESnet:

  • Paul:  Nothing new to report from ESnet.
  • Jeronimo:  Provisioning of colo space in ATL is under way.  The spectrum provisioning should be done by the end of the month.  Everything should be in place by May.
  • Julio:  The agreement with Internet2 on ATL ↔ JAX service is moving forward.

Developments in La Serena and end-to-end service to NCSA for upcoming Auxiliary Telescope Traffic and general (internet, mail, voice) traffic

  • Rubin (Cristian):  The Cisco ACI phaseout has been completed.  Work underway with REUNA to modify the summit-to-base connectivity, with 40x10GE being upgraded to 4x100GE.  When completed, total connectivity will be 6x100GE.  No AuxTel run this month, due to Telescope Mount Assembly work.
  • Reuna (Sergio):  Nothing new to report.
