DMLT Meeting Goals

  • Weekly meeting to keep the DM leadership team coordinated, informed, and in agreement on the vision, priorities, and challenges facing DM construction, including surfacing and resolving issues and ambiguities needing our attention. The goal of this meeting is to provide information and decisions that help each one of us better direct our own (or our team's) activities.

Discussion Items

Guidelines: Propose items in line with the meeting rationale (see above); include as much information in the agenda notes; summarize, don't go into details while on the call; maximize time available for discussion.

30 minOverdue RFCs

RFCs with "Planned end" past "now".

It is now possible to lock down RFCs that include sensitive information. There is a new security setting that can be enabled at ticket creation time.

JIRA issues attached to the DMLT "team"

See this query link for a list of not-Done actions assigned to the DMLT "team". Many tickets are still assigned to Jacek Becla and should be reassigned. T/CAMs will take a first pass at triaging and the remainder will be left until March.

10 minAttendance at Spring 2017 IVOA InterOpJohn Swinbank

This conference is in Shanghai in May; need to figure out who will go - possibly Maria Patterson, Brian Van Klaveren, or Kenny Lo?  John Swinbank will be surrendering his position of chair of the Time Domain working group at this meeting,  We have not been consistent in attending this meeting in the past, so need to change that. It was agreed that Unknown User (mtpatter) and John Swinbank should submit travel requests.

  • Fritz Mueller to decide who should attend the Spring 2017 IVOA InterOp from his team.   Brian Van Klaveren and Kenny Lo
25 minSpring 2017 large-dataset verification plans
  • Robert Lupton and Michael Wood-Vasey will be giving talks at next week's DESC meeting and will coordinate their talks; management of data and data access still to be defined.
  • Discussion regarding HSC data reprocessing and NCSA deliverables.
  • QA validation and verification memo was to be written - where are we on this (Wil O'Mullane, Mario Juric, Frossie Economou)?
  • LDM-240 is connected to this topic but needs to be updated.
