This page sets out some issues and options in the service of Rubin/LSST time series data via IVOA and community Python interfaces.
The discussion assumes familiarity with the DPDD data model, the IVOA TAP interface standard, and the PyVO package for Python access to TAP services. It also assumes a little familiarity with the Astroquery family of packages, and with the IVOA DataLink standard, though some explanations are provided to fill those in a bit.
Core time-dependent data in the DPDD data model
The DPDD envisions the following time-dependent tables:

These tables are also re-created in Rata Releases, though possibly with some differences (e.g., association might not be done as a progressive, online algorithm).
