Notes

Christopher Waters

  • Spend last week thinking about updating more things to the new calib scheme.
    • Many things had more complexities than expected.
    • E.g. defects had a C++ class that needs moving from meas_algorithms.
    • And reducing duplication with TransmissionCurve in afw.
    • And BF kernels need some input from Merlin Fisher-Levine on what actually needs to be saved, and what is just an implementation artefact.
  • Several reviews out.
    • Including crosstalk; DM-24760.
  • And will revisit the DM-20070 review.

Andrés Alejandro Plazas Malagón

  • Fielding review comments on DM-20070.
    • Andrés & Chris both think this is converging.
  • Working on DM-25711, QA on gains from the PTC task.
    • Has shown that code can recover input gains on simulations.
    • On real LATISS/BOT data, are within a few percent of earlier code.
    • Will be discussing this with Craig Lage who has been thinking about different gain measurement methods.
    • Some worry that different methods are masking different pieces of data; Andrés will spend a few more minutes to check that they are really comparable.
    • And will check on some other datasets (e.g. multiple AuxTel datasets) to make sure it's consistent; would give an estimate of the scatter in the reproducibility.
  • Reviewed DM-25329, change of configurations in cp_pipe.
  • Working on updating ISR page on Confluence.
    • In support of tomorrow's SAWG meeting.
    • And to support RHL in giving an update to the PST.
    • Will spend some time today on finishing this.
