Notes
- Still awaiting comments on DMTN-148 from this meeting.
- We should read it!
- But Simon and Tim J. have both provided comments.
- Aiming to push changes to master this week.
- And then start developing a base Python class that can describe the interface to calibrations.
- Likely use crosstalk as the first subclass of this.
- And that will get obs_decam crosstalk working in G3.
- And this may also resolve some of the stuff in RFC-683.
- Will also start RFCing changes based on the DMTN.
Andrés Alejandro Plazas Malagón
- Spent last week working on review response on DM-23044.
- Done on Friday; now waiting to hear back from Tim J.
- Now focusing on DM-23045 (validating the linearizers).
- Waiting for a review on crosstalk from Merlin (DM-23623).
- Agreed that we will not block this on Chris's changes (above), so it can go ahead and be merged.
- But don't spend a long time addressing comments.
- No longer working on RFC-683, following the discussion above.
- Starting to work on bulk-processing AuxTel data.
- Thousands of images.
- Will find failure modes, and will debug.
- In order to do that, will need to work on AuxTel astrometry.
- First attempt, got the matcher running, but with zero scatter over 63 sources, which sounds... surprising.
- Needed to take the centroid from the astrometry, because the central star is saturated but we need sub-pixel centroid precision.
- Ultimately, will get everything working in a robust way, then pass output products to Jeremy for further analysis.
- Who will be deriving a rough QE for chip/telescope/mirrors system, and then transmission curve for the filters.
- And otherwise, will be looking at comments from Christopher Waters on rapid_analysis.
