Project Updates
  • NORLab return to work plan. Still tape on meeting rooms etc. but should be opening up. Mentions 8 days a month in office. 
  • This is SFR#5 week: AMCR and ABOD meetings to review for approval (Victor, Wil, Zeljko and Sandrine)
  • AURA Reviews – Victor says please get them done
  • AURA Vaccine Booster Mandate – Rolling deadline starts tomorrow: as of last Monday 25% of expected Rubin Construction AURA North American staff had not registered their booster due tomorrow.
  • SFR#2 RFI response went in last week (May 6th is still the end of project).  No news on January Close for accounting data.
  • Agency Quarterly review is 7 April – Topics unchanged – Agenda being drafted this week.
  • Camera Refrigeration plans: Decision last Thursday is to focus attention on Alternate System –
    • Review is planned for 28 March. There are some T&S/Project issues to address (Victor, Jeff, Chuck, Kevin R., Kevin L. Vincent)
    • Pathfinder will be used on the summit for risk mitigation
    • T&S have to cost running new piping etc.
  • ComCam installation schedule is uncertain (currently May 1st.) - now alternate refrigeration. Stick to plan until May 1.
    • No on-sky data until May 2023.
    • All sensors in ComCam can be run in guide mode (but only one at a time).
      • Gregory Dubois-Felsmann / Robert Lupton Arrange meeting to understand the data format for guide and stripchart data. DM has to understand this format. It has to be documented and have proper metadata.  
  • Still some visa/consular problems with contractors to Chile/the summit.
