Meeting Notes

• Unknown User (aguyonnet) gave two presentations
  
  • Comparing SNFactory & MERRA-2 atmospheric parameters
    • PWV is somewhat correlated
    • Nothing else is.
    • Agreement is not bad though.
  • Next steps:
    • More work to do on the aerosols from MERRA.
    • Immediate question is: can we extract aerosols from the MERRA data.
    • That will be the main focus of Unknown User (aguyonnet)'s work until ~Christmas.

    • Almost ready to close it.
    • Discovered interesting effects in background subtraction.

  • Will be at Caltech meeting next week ("Image Sensors for Precision Astronomy", formerly known as "Precision Astronomy with Fully Depleted CCDs"); will (probably) miss this meeting.
    • But will tell us about it the following week.
