This week we talked about the process for accepting a new feature into opsim itself. The basic consensus was that the new feature needed to not screw up the 'baseline' cadence (so - make a 10 year baseline run, compare the MAF analysis results with the previous baseline and see if results come in within the repeatability limits). Beyond that, specialized testing of the new feature is on a case-by-case basis.

The particular new feature in this case, was enabling opsim to handle multiple exposure times in different proposals. The email thread (on lsst-opsim-dev@lsstcorp.org) is here: https://listserv.lsstcorp.org/mailman/private/lsst-opsim-dev/2016-May/3142.html

Action items: as many eyes as possible, look over the baseline run comparison please to look for meaningful differences. Anyone who's particularly interested, please follow up with the additional test surveys, lucy_1001 and astro_lsst_01_1013.

Goal is to get this feature merged back into master by next Wednesday.
