Flagged RFCs (To be approved by the DMCCB) | 923- recommended 922 - seems ok - we have no guidance as to what people should do. Steve asks if this is replacing something. This is for cell-coaads - its another wrapper around cfitsio. It is 5-10x faster for this use case. We should see about switching some other places.. we will not get rid of anything for now. KTL asks for one of the proposers to put some guidance in dev guide about when to use this over other fits packages (Tim commented on RFC ). | |

Releases
|
| 24.2.rc1 built v25 backports can start .. 24.1 is awating the CR. In theory could come out next week. Jeff awaits releases to run the characterization reports - he is ready. v26 is imminent - so would be nice to get 25 out in June. Leanne asks for a 25 release and at 25.1 for backports .. MW says backports are a day .. similar to 24 so do not expect problems. |
