  • At DMLT Meeting -2021-04-05 it was decided that this release will include a proper timeline for removal of Gen2. CCB shall approve the wording of the deprecation notice included in v22.

    • Jim, Tim will provide text. Branch exists no page for release note yet
    • Colin wants one full release period of overlap with both Gen2 and Gen3 usable for pipelines users (i.e. can still run Gen2 pipelines in v23, but can be dropped the day after release)
    • ap_verify for example has limited users - can be RFCed out early ..
  • Have been warning about gen2 deprecation  for over a year
