Calculation of performance metrics Jeffrey Carlin

Jeffrey Carlin  will present his work on implementing remaining performance metrics for review. and plans for the first acceptance test campaign,  DM-22457 - Getting issue details... STATUS

  • Agreement to run the acceptance test campaign on HSC RC2 for the purpose of signing off on DMSR requirements. 
  • Decision to run validate_drp on HSC PDR2, tract-by-tract, produce tract level metrics and think about how to roll them up. This will provide useful and necessary information for the algorithms workshop and  should be done by then. 
  • Pipelines team will review the new metrics implemented by Jeff in validate_drp before running the acceptance test. 
  • In addition, we need to review not only the implementation of the metrics defined in the DMSR, but the scientific usefulness of the defined metrics. If they are not what we need, an LCR should be submitted to update or remove them. 
  • Gregory Dubois-Felsmann points out that some of the performance metrics are not correctly flowed down from the SRD. 
  • Proposal for Jeffrey Carlinto visit Princeton to work with the team there on validate_drp before (rather than after), and in preparation for the algorithms workshop.  This will be decided once the workshop agenda and list of figures needed is defined. 
  • Leanne Guyarrange for review of the new code implemented in validate_drp by the pipelines team  
  • Leanne Guy arrange a review of the performance metrics.

  • Discussion on Galaxy modelling will be scheduled as part of a wider discussion on all algorithms for the algorithms workshop 
  • A technote on User Generated use cases would still be valuable → this should be moved to a Jira ticket and planned
  • Given the Portal de-scope, the planned work on LDM-244 is not a good use of time at this stage. This will be moved to a ticket and linked to the ticket to restart Portal development in 2021.   DM-23046 - Getting issue details... STATUS
  • DMTN-090 will not be RFC'd. The relevant information is being captured in actual requirements documents that will eventually be RFC's
