The recommended install instructions will provide these dependencies for you through an Anaconda distribution.
NOTE : Installation of all of lsst_sims (not just sims_maf) includes the installation of GalSim, which is currently unable to install on MacOS El Capitan. If you require the full sims package and GalSim and are using El Capitan, please contact Scott Daniel.
