We have hooked up a Ocean Optics HR2000 spectrometer to the Mac Mini (will be difficult to make the same setup work on Raspberry Pi due to need to rebuild code on it... possibly SeaBreeze might work if built from source?). C code interfaces with spectrometer. One can adjust exposure times. A few other options configurable but not built into command line (yet).
