Wil O'Mullane

  • Directors review planning
    • no charge nor committee yet
    • 3 days September 7,8,9 (labor day is 6th)
    • Just need to update our slides from rebaseline
    • Apparently they no longer like multiple parallel breakouts so it may be just management and technical in parallel.
    • long discussion on camera and how to present that in the review
    • NSF numbers will not be final. There may be technical probing on potential to actually finish - it all converges on SITCOM
    • Possibly last JSR for EPO - some clarity on what they expect in the review from EPO - what to EPO have to do for an acceptance review.
  • PCW
    • Schedule ok to use P6 . Technically still in flux . Kevin says now Dec 15 (So January is good).
    • We still have not gotten talking points on Satellites from NSF. So we have to say any talk about satellites is under discussion with Agencies refer to Ed (NSF) if Ed is  not there - Steve, Bob, Victor, (wil, leanne, Zeljko if the first 3 not available).
  • Some discussion with tubes on camera, how to we convince ourselves the will not leak over 10 years.
    • Task force chaired by Boyd
    • Kevin looking with endoscope  
    •  need telescope people to understand torque on lines and any potential mods it might need.
  • Camera lift and ComCam lift scheduled Wednsedy
    • staffing issues and travel issues may get in the way any delay would not be technical.
