During Fall 2017, the DRP QA group (roughly Lauren MacArthur, Unknown User (tmorton), Jim Bosch, Robert Lupton, Sophie Reed, John Swinbank) will work towards defining the QA procedure which will be applied to the results of the LDM-503-2 (“HSC Reprocessing”) milestone, which will be executed in late November 2017 (see LDM-503 §7.2 for details).
This group will meet ~weekly during October & November.

QA Metrics
Our plan involves measuring a series of quantities — “metrics” — binned over the survey area. These metrics may, but do not necessarily, reflect the LDM-502 key performance metrics (“KPMs”).
The following metrics have been identified based on discussions with Science Leadership (Robert Lupton, Jim Bosch) and from the LDM-502 KPM list. We plan to implement these in priority order (per guidance from RHL, JimB, etc); we do not regard it as essential for LDM-503 to produce measurements of all of them. (Indeed, measurement of a single metric in a usable way is likely enough to satisfy both the letter and the spirit of LDM-503-2). For each metric we will include notes appropriate to the current, Fall 2017, exercise, including implementation details, links to tickets, etc, but we note that LDM-502, and not this list, provides the fundamental definition of KPMs. An LDM-502 update based on material collected here is possible.
Calibration Processing (procCalRep)
As described in LDM-502 §2.1.1.
Photometric Repeatability (PA1gri, PA1uzy)
As described in LDM-502 §2.1.2.
Relative Astrometry (AM1, AM2, AM3, AB1)
As described in LDM-502 §3.1.
Residual PSF Ellipticity Corrections (TE1, TE2)
As described in LDM-502 §4.1.
Width of the Stellar Locus
As described by Robert Lupton.
