Project Updates
  • Late Thursday SFR2 was submitted. Some CAMS have to provide more info. Kevin will contact them
  • SF3 is imminent - before December.
  • Variance naratives before Thanksgiving. Kevin wants status beginning of the month. Jira pull will be last day of the month (not first Friday).  Tighter and earlier effort.
    • Chuck - can we link status of NSF and DOE for reporting. Kevin Reil does not mind doing both.
  • Victor - needs to justify why people are in places they do not belong (wrong state, country etc.)
    • No DM miscreants that we know
    • two committees looking into remote working - AURA perhaps even added  a new state. Its a known issue but no solution yet.
  • SFR5 - security - progress - Kevin ready to take in data, have Dash360 set up.
    • Cristian and I will be meeting Kevin at noon.
    • Huawei just put in FIU number.
  • Timesheets due ..
  • Travel
    • Domestic travel - extra verification (from Erin but it is a AURA policy) - Victor is supposed to know and approve of all travel
  • All hands 9th Dec - save the date email should go out tomorrow. (But camera team also have all hands that day)
  • Chuck - meeting on missing scope before end of year.
    • This identifies gaps - step 2 is the meeting to discuss them (some may be in hand)
    • If we agree there are critical things on the list not taken care of we have to figure out how to get it done (and  prioritized relative to other things). One way is to say it is operations ..
  • Chuck G. Looking for new NOIRLab safety manager in Chile - Giovanni remains the Rubin Construction Manager.
    • Entire Rubin team becomes part of NOIRLab
