  • Weekly meeting to keep the DM leadership team coordinated, informed, and in agreement on the vision, priorities, and challenges facing DM construction, including surfacing and resolving issues and ambiguities needing our attention. The goal of this meeting is to provide information and decisions that help each one of us better direct our own (or our team's) activities.

Status of LDM-503-n milestones

  • Gregory Dubois-Felsmann how is the LSP doc doing ?  and the Design and Requirements RFCs ..
  • Still issues on Qserv .. generally it is working .. but no other place to test.
    • Need to get documentation issued regardless of hardware status.
  • NB: LDM-503-4 due 2018-02-01, LDM-503-4b due 2018-02-12.
    • These dates are acknowledged to be aggressive given the likely AuxTel schedule, but that shouldn't block the preparation of test plans, etc.
    • AuxTel on summit Oct/Nov .. base site not avialble so hardware n Summit.  DAQ in Tucson Feb 12?? To cofirm.

  • Follow-up on early January outage of git-lfs, Jenkins, etc.
    • In particular, do we have a general procedure for handling status announcements on dependent services (ie, services which depend on other services, like Jenkins depends on git-lfs depends — depended? — on Nebula)
    • What happens next time ? How do we inform everyone ..  Jeff says ITSC has tackled this - there is a notification page .. Does this cover travis? - ITSC is only a committee .. not monitoring. Push policy down - story not finished .. sqrbot not in developer guide but should be - not everyone else has a live monitor. There is notification and monitoring - we are not capturing dependencies.
