  • Weekly meeting to keep the DM leadership team coordinated, informed, and in agreement on the vision, priorities, and challenges facing DM construction, including surfacing and resolving issues and ambiguities needing our attention. The goal of this meeting is to provide information and decisions that help each one of us better direct our own (or our team's) activities.

  • End of November was the due date for LDM-503-1 (WISE data in PDAC), LDM-503-2 (HSC Reprocessing) and LDM-503-3 (Alert Generation). What's the status of these milestones?

None of these milestones are finished yet, but are all on track for bringing to to a conclusion over the next ~week.

  • Code for quantifying the differences of compressed vs. uncompressed has been written, initial tests have been run (though not exactly on the right thing). Will be reviewing initial results today (Monday).
  • Have most of the infrastructure ready, things should speed up now. Starting to look at QA plots & making sure the metrics being measured are apropriate (e.g., right now looking at means, should look at worst-case outliers, etc.).
  • See 2017-11-27 Lossy Compression WG Meeting notes for initial plots (magnitude & centroid differences).
