DMLT Meeting Goals

  • Weekly meeting to keep the DM leadership team coordinated, informed, and in agreement on the vision, priorities, and challenges facing DM construction, including surfacing and resolving issues and ambiguities needing our attention. The goal of this meeting is to provide information and decisions that help each one of us better direct our own (or our team's) activities.

Discussion Items

Guidelines: Propose items in line with the meeting rationale (see above); include as much information in the agenda notes; summarize, don't go into details while on the call; maximize time available for discussion.

Notes

DMLT meeting timeJohn Swinbank

Proposal to shift meeting time 15 minutes later (to 1:15pm Eastern / 10:15 am Project). Will still be done by 1:45pm/10:45am (target), 2pm/11am (in extremis). Objections? (There were none).

  • John Swinbank: Update DMLT meeting template to start 15 minutes later.
November DMLT F2F
  • Details here.
  • Date clash with the Directors Operations Review. Suggestion that we run this meeting on 2 & 3 November, with possible T/CAM day on 1 November. Thoughts?
  • Agenda. Enough topics for at least 1.5 days .. should we try to finish at a reasonable time on Friday ? What are flights like?

We agreed that the above plan sounds right.

  • All DMLT members: provide feedback to Unknown User (lpetrick) on whether and when they are attending the meeting
L1/2/3Wil O'Mullane

Communicating this in more user friendly terms. Nightly/Data release/User.

  • Mario Juric: Draft a slide outlining the various L1/2/3/nightly/daily/release/user/... terms for distribution to Victor, AMCL, etc.
SWEWil O'MullaneAURA will have a booth at this year’s Society of Women Engineers meeting http://we17.swe.org taking place in Austin, TX, October 26– 28.  The Project Office can cover the cost of 1-2 people attending the conference this year. (We have some clashing events)
March 2018 DM AHMWil O'Mullane
  • NB there will be no JTM in early 2018. Each subsystem will organize separate all hands meetings with some crosstalk.
  • This meeting will focus on DM, but is not exclusively for DM project members.
  • Doodle poll for dates in March; decide on a date and then find a venue.  - March 13-15 ?  .. Who wants to host ?
  • Agreed on those dates.
