NSF Annual Review of LSST | Jeff Kantor | The following dates have been identified as good windows to hold the 3-day NSF Status Review: February 8, 9, 10, 2016 & February 15, 16, 17, 2016 We do not have a charge but we expect that the PMCS and associated EVM processes will be a key focus. There will be general technical status too but the discussions with the NSF about the review have centered on drill downs in the PMCS. Given the topics, the current key participants are: Kahn, Willman, Krabbendam, Calabrese, Gessner, Long, Angeli, Claver, Kantor, K-T, Gressler, Jacoby, Kurita (1 day or virtual), Selvy, Richardson (CAS Manager and expected to be key participant for PMCS drilldown). Please indicate if you would be available for the proposed dates in Tucson. This is not an exhaustive list but the minimum expected for in-person participation. As the charge and agenda develop there may be others identified for presentations. Zeljko and subsystem scientists participation is also welcome but optional. Remote connections will be supported and would be a good method to participate. |
Risk Reviews |
| Based on last T/CAM focus meeting, we determined that the "official" risk register would be maintained by Kian-Tat Lim, Mario Juric, Jeff Kantor, Gregory Dubois-Felsmann as before we got the T/CAMs involved. The T/CAMs and Kian-Tat Lim, Jeff Kantor, Mario Juric will come up with a lower level, cycle-focused risk vehicle as necessary. Occasionally, we expect risk to "bubble up" from the lower level to the "official" risk register. |
