Agenda
- Need to find new time slot (doodle poll to follow)
- Overview of FY16 Plan (same material that was planned last week)
- lsst-dev7 'beta'
Notes
- The notice to dm-devel bounced last night. Not sure what the issue was. Unknown User (jalt) will follow up with Ian.
- KT: Integration environment useful without Pan Starrs, don't let that delay deployment
- Pan Starrs not available until summer, only stack images needed
- Jason to make sure Swinbank is included in friendly user releases
- Jason to talk with Jacek Becla about significantly expanding the Qsev node count at NCSA
- KT: lsst-dev probably not useful once lsst-dev7 is fully deployed and transitioned. Possibly move lsst-dev to Nebula for reference and very light use
- Jason: Goal of development environment:
- Support shared stacks as long as the developers prefer that environment
- Consolidate batch clients to lsst-dev (think of lsst-dev as a cluster head node with multiple queues available complete with GPFS)
- Nebula to be used for large scale testing/development, user-run services
- GPFS to provide native access to non user-owned systems. Benchmarking samba for read / write use in user-owned systems (ex Nebula)
