  • Will conclude this phase of major changes to the measurement framework
Jacek

    • Ref-match implementation
K-T
  • Mostly closing issues from last week's meeting

  • Cleaned up the github account
  • How long will GitHub be a mirror? It will take at least 2 weeks to figure out if it is working well for DM.
Mario
  • Assisting with setting up A/V for interview talk (tomorrow). If all goes well, technical talks can be recorded for posterity.
    • JimB volunteers to reprise his AHM presentation on galaxy modelling
    • Robert will do one (topic TBD)
  • Interviews will soak up most available time until next week.
  • GitHub is being used as a mirror, so changes from gitolite are being pushed to GitHub. One can open a pull request on GitHub, but developers should continue to merge locally and push to gitolite.
RHL

  • Also involved in interviews; leaving for the Far East later this week.
  • Doing some work for the Camera team, so will be reviewing CameraGeom in some detail.
    • Where are docs? Simon: documented in Doxygen.
    • Will want to build tasks for them w/o a heavyweight butler.
  • Will be reviewing task documentation and contacting authors if there are problems
    • Next push will be to document the measurement algorithms. (Ed: Yay!)
Frossie
  • Jeff asks that tickets related to work performed in July be closed out by noon Thurs (21 Aug), for reporting purposes.
  • Jeff want's Mario to provide guidance on crafting story points. 2-pt/day?
  • Mario responds:
    • Just give me a task list and tell me how long each will take to complete. I'll convert to story-pt units next week.
    • Deadline for providing list (Wed) is soft, since I won't be able to review them soon.
    • Post list via e-mail to lsst-data, or anywhere we can see it.
    • Timeframe: "6-month" planning cycle, meaning from 1-Oct to end of Feb. for Winter 2015 release
Simon
  • Completing a few remaining tasks for Summer2014.
  • Now planning for Winter 2015.

    • Option to install ds9 and any other package that are needed, but that are not strictly dependencies
