Discussion Items

WhoNotes
AndyB
  • Out last week for eye surgery; vision improved.
  • Andys B&C setup Scrum Board and initiated sprint with focus on figuring out how to workaround DCR.
  • Blocker: NASA proposal due in couple of weeks and is consuming Andy's time.
Simon
  • No blockers
  • Simon had an informal chat with Josh Hoblitt and K-T on Calibration Products. Josh handled this for PS1. There are 2 major problems:
    • Determining which calibration product is correct one as a function of time; and
    • Tracing the provenance of data products so they can be redone on demand.
    • Consensus is that 2cd one is hardest to solve.
  • Simon can't create Read-only and RW git-fat repositories without using different endpoints - which would be a real user annoyance. He is giving up on git-fat for the moment.
Jim
  • No blockers
  • Two issues merged by Perry since last meeting, containing measurement algorithms converted to meas_base.
  • By this Friday, the big meas_multifit review by Yusra will be mostly complete.
    • Jim expects to be able to start responding to her comments in real-time as they come in.
Jacek
  • No blockers
  • Qserv dev week - please see https://dev.lsstcorp.org/trac/wiki/db/Qserv ("for developers" section)
  • We went through all Qserv tasks / sprints.
  • We have a fully working qserv that is easy to download, build, configure, run and test. (plus some issues open to do final touches).

  • I'd call it a major milestone.
