        • This is also measured on the combined dark, so is this a combination effect?

      • This saturation level is somewhat unrelated to the PTC turnoff levels.

        • Should we be splitting the defect into saturated pixels and a separate defect?
        • Based on Pierre Antilogus comments, we might need to be more aggressive on the masking.
      • The new defects should be more correct than what we were doing before.
        • Removes the NO_DATA masking that were excluding pixels without being masked as BAD, a defect.
        • We now have saturated pixels in these locations, which should be triggering the defect code, allocating those as BAD, and not SATURATED.
        • This is possibly confused with incorrect saturation levels.
        • The non-linear effect shows up when the defects made with darks from one exposure time disagree with the effect seen in science exposures with different times.
        • Wings should show up in longer darks.  There may be some longer darks from 2023-09.
      • Some processing results in pixel values greater than 120k counts.

        • Shows up at the summit, but not at the USDF.

          • Suggests this is a calibration issue at the summit.

        • Cut around it for the PTC.  +/- 2 columns.
      • Spikes at row=0, are charge at the serial register, potentially from prior exposure?
        • This should be something that could be fixable with a better clear.  A "deep clear".
        • This will be worse in E2V, due to a charge inversion.
        • Will be an issue with bright stars as well.
